In the United States, Patriot Day, observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the people killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks. Of the 2,977 victims killed in the September 11 attacks, 412 were emergency workers in New York City who responded to the World Trade Center. Coryell Memorial Healthcare System (CMHS) would like to take this opportunity to thank our first responder’s, Coryell EMS Team, our local fire, police and sheriff departments, and all of our CMHS healthcare professionals who bravely come together every day to save those in duress, mend the sick, comfort the scared and broken. When you see these servicemen and women please let them know how much you appreciate their service.
