The premise of this comic book saga is a quarantined dorm complex full of elated students, happy to escape freedom from authority. But it turns out that being of college age doesn’t protect this group from developing into a new society much like Lord of the Flies. Clay Chapman, author of “Ultimate Spider-Man®” and artist Jey Levang are publishing this series. The first book will be out September 6.

3. Star Wars® Adventures

There can never be enough Star Wars comics, and September is introducing a new monthly comic series from Cavan Scott and Derek Charm. The first issue brought out by IDW Publishing® explores Rey’s early adventures on Jakku.
