The Application

Seeking employment as a housekeeper starts with contacting the Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing office to discuss your job preferences. You can also choose to fill out the company’s online contact form and someone will get back to you within two days. The company prefers conducting interviews in person; however, if this is not possible, a telephone interview will suffice.

Reference Checks

housekeeperA team member can usually recommend positions based on your work background and interview. Your current resume and references are required, with references checked upon your approval. Interviews with potential employers are scheduled at their request. Once you have received an offer and your background security check is clear, the Aunt Ann’s team suggests a paid two-to-five-day trial to ensure you and the employer are a good match. If the trial is not successful, the placement company will help you find another job.

Duties & Responsibilities

In addition to knowledge and skills such as cleaning product familiarity and the ability to communicate effectively, your duties as a housekeeper include vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing, laundry and ironing, making the beds, cleaning the kitchen, managing dry cleaning, doing household errands, and sweeping outdoor living areas. Your responsibilities may also include meal and party/event preparation, pet care, and closet organization. Schedules are daily, weekly, or monthly as needed.

The team at Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing will happily answer any questions you have. Review available jobs now, or call (415) 749-3650 to begin the application process.
