After new windows are installed, your home will be sealed up more than ever before.  During hot, humid summer weather, this can mean there’s a large difference in temperature and humidity levels between the inside and outside of your home.  Sometimes this results in condensation on the outside of the glass on your new windows.

As striking as this may be to find (especially after purchasing new windows), this is a natural phenomenon.  Condensation can occur on your new windows in the winter time as well.  Again, this is caused by a large difference in internal and external temperature and humidity levels.

Unless there is condensation between the panes of glass, then this is completely normal.  However, if you do find condensation between the glass, this can be a sign of seal failure.  It shouldn’t happen soon after replacing, and most window companies (including Windows Plus) cover seal failure in their warranties.
