We are starting a new initiative here at LVH which should make your life a little easier, but we do need your help to get started.  It's called forward booking, and it's what dentists have been doing for years. Most dentists have their clients schedule their next visit before even leaving their current visit.  Not only does this alleviate one more thing to remember to do later, but it guarantees that your pet's medical services will be performed at the correct time.

This is really just an expansion of something we've been doing for sick patients for years. Most sick animals need to come back in a week or two for a medical progress exam, which is almost always scheduled before the client leaves the building. Now, we are just trying to include healthy pets in that mindset as well. 

The benefits to you include...

  • You don’t need to remember to call us several months from now.We take care of all the remembering for you. Once scheduled, we will contact you 2 weeks prior to the appointment to confirm that the date and time is still convenient for you.
  • Eliminates trying to juggle schedules trying to fit in your pet's exam last minute. By scheduling in advance, you are more likely to get the day and time you want.
  • Keeping costs down.If your pet's exam is already scheduled, we won't mail you a reminder postcard. The less we spend on reminders means we can pass the savings on.
  • Once we get several clients forward booking, it will fill our schedule further out than you may be used to. Calling to schedule when a service is already due may mean the first opening is a couple weeks out.By forward booking, your pet can get seen when they are due for the service, not a couple weeks after.

Don’t know what your schedule is 6 months from now?  That's ok, because we will call you about 2 weeks prior to the appointment.  If your availability has changed, we can easily reschedule the appointment for you.  It's better to have something planned and maybe need to reschedule it, rather than remembering that your pet's visit was due 2 weeks ago.

Now here's the part where we need your help, but it's easy.  All we ask is that you help us to help you make sure your pet is seen on time.  The next time you're here for a healthy wellness visit, anticipate that we will be requesting you to schedule your follow up appointment at the end of the visit. Either bring your calendar along with you, or go ahead and make an appointment without it, and call us back if there's an issue. It's as simple as that!
