Run a Race in all 50 states! That is what Jan Ward, 71, and her grandson Turtle Powell, 15, decided to do. This duo has ran in the Coryell Memorial Healthcare System (CMHS) hosted “Run for Your Life” 5/10K the past several years. They are seen here with their support team, daughter to Jan and mother to Turtle, Paula Powell, and her husband Jimmy Williamson, sporting the CMHS “Run for Your Life” t-shirts, during a trip to North Dakota. In this photo Jan and Turtle are in the USA and Paula and Jimmy are standing in Canada! They have now completed 48 states and only have Hawaii and Alaska to go. Coryell Memorial is cheering them on as they reach their goals and inspiring others along the way to commit to health and fitness with a lot of fun!
