The consistently beautiful weather in Waialua, HI, allows Pacific Skydiving Center to offer skydiving year round. Although you can make your appointment at any time, they say some seasons are better than others, depending on your experience and personal preferences. Whether it’s your first time skydiving or you’re a seasoned jumper, their staff and instructors can help you pick the perfect time of year for the most memorable experience possible.

Summer is the most popular season for skydiving since more people take vacations during this time of year. This can mean longer wait times and bigger crowds, though, which may be unappealing to first-timers. The weather is usually the most stable in the summer, though, so there’s less risk of having to reschedule.

SkydivingSpring is slightly less busy than summer, as the weather is more unpredictable. To ensure your safety, you may not reach your desired altitude, or you may need to reschedule your jump altogether. Fortunately, at Pacific Skydiving Center, you don’t pay until after your jump. By autumn, the weather begins to cool off, and there are fewer crowds. This means less of a wait, and the calmer atmosphere is usually beneficial for first-time skydivers.

Winter is perhaps the slowest season, because even in Hawaii, the temperatures are much cooler. Most first-timers are virtually unaffected by the cool temperatures due to the adrenaline rush of their first jump. Seasoned skydivers may prefer to dress warm or wait for spring.

Since Pacific Skydiving Center is open year round, there’s really never a bad time to take the plunge. It all comes down to your availability and personal preferences. If waiting in line with several other skydivers in front of you would make you anxious, one of the slower seasons might be better. If you feed off of others’ excitement, summer may be perfect for you.

At Pacific Skydiving Center, they offer everything you need to have a great experience. To ensure your safety, they offer a skydiving course to prepare clients for their first jump. To check availability or make a skydiving reservation, go online or call (808) 637-7472.
