1. Beauty and the Beast 

Beauty and the Beast is a new take on an old classic. Inspired by the French fairytale, this film is Disney’s first live-action rendition of the popular romantic fantasy. A beautiful young woman, Belle (played by Emma Watson), happens upon an enchanted castle, the home of a cursed young prince. As the fantastical story unfolds, the two fall in love. This movie is rated PG and will be available for viewing June 6. 

2. A Dog’s Purpose 

A Dog’s Purpose explores the idea of dogs as gurus of happiness. Based on the book of the same name, the family-friendly comedy-drama follows a dog through several lifetimes as he seeks his purpose in life: to teach his people to laugh and love. This PG movie came to on-demand May 2. 

3. The Shack 

The Shack delves into the meaning of love, loss, and faith. After the abduction of his youngest daughter, protagonist Mack receives a letter, presumably from God, asking him to return to The Shack, the place his daughter may have been killed. Mack goes to The Shack for the first time since his daughter went missing, and his experience changes his life forever. This rated PG-13 fantasy drama came to on-demand May 26. 

4. Season 7: Game of Thrones 

Based on George R.R. Martin’s bestselling fantasy novels, the Game of Thrones fantasy drama TV series has captivated audiences around the world. On July 16, the highly-anticipated seventh season will air on HBO. Game of Thrones is known for its fast-paced, dramatic, and complex plot lines, exquisite scenery, and an all-star cast. This TV show is recommended for adults only because of its violence, nudity, and language.
