LIVE ENTERTAINMENT TOMORROW at The Tin Top! Jim Andrews will be playing during Brunch tomorrow from 11 am - 2 pm.

Jim Andrews was born in Kansas City. He played with many bands in the mid-west area and was inducted in the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Bonesteel band with his charted song “Wheels”. He lived in Los Angeles doing studio work, toured and worked with groups such as Spyder Turner and Piranha.

Later on he relocated to the Gulf Coast area where he was working with notable artists such as Jimmy Hall, Aaron Neville, Vince Vance and The Vallients and did recording with other artists. Smooth jazz and r&b music is his favorite style to play as well as Latin and reggae style of conga. He was highly mentored by Grover Washington Jr. Kansas City Blues. His strong influences are The Crusaders, Stanley Turrentine, Maseo Parker, David Sanborn and Michael Brecker.

 

Currently Jim resides in Pensacola, Florida working in various venues on the Gulf Coast including recording sessions and concerts. His CD “Moods” receives airplay on local radio
