President Obama annouces widesweeping immigration reforms, Washington, District Of Columbia

President Obama announced several executive actions last night.  These initiatives include:

1)  Expanding DACA entry dates to January 1, 2010 and granting 3 year work permits;

2)  Allowing parents of US Citizens and lawful permanent residents physically present since January 1, 2010 to request Deferred Action for Parents (DAP),

3)  Expand the I-601A provisional waivers to include spouses and sons and daughters of lawful permanent residents and sons and daughters of US Citizens and;

4)  Improve the present immigration programs as well as improvements to the Department of Labor's PERM labor certification program.
