From May 13-20, Hillview Health Care Center in La Crosse, WI, invites you to join us in celebrating Nursing Home Week! This year, we've scheduled a full week of activities to give you and your loved ones a chance to laugh, dance, and have fun. Each day is also themed, so dress in your best—or silliest—clothes as you visit your loved ones in our senior housing facility.

On Saturday afternoon, start your Mother's Day early with the Apple Annie’s Singing Group. The performance begins at 1:30 p.m. to honor all mothers. Mother's Day festivities will continue through Sunday.

Monday is Denim Day, so come dressed in your best jeans, jackets, and denim accessories! Sheri Sarazin will grace us with a harp performance at 10:15 a.m. followed by an early Syttende Mai celebration at 2:00 p.m. On Tuesday, join our senior community for a lazy Pajama Day. We'll gather to paint fingernails in preparation for Wednesday's Prom.

Wednesday, wear your black ties and cocktail dresses for Fancy Dress Day! Our Prom wheelchair dance will last from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is open to visitors. The preceding Prom dinner is for nursing home residents only.

On Thursday, step into the past for Decades Day, with fashions from any previous decade. Music Bingo will start at 10:30 a.m. Wake up early on Friday for flapjacks and funny hats. Our pancake breakfast will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for all residents, family, and staff. On Saturday, we'll finish Nursing Home Week with country music by the Triple Nickel Band. The performance starts at 1:30 p.m.
