But you don’t need to leave the thermostat on the same setting all day. Program your thermostat to be slightly warmer during the day when you are not around.

2. Setting the Thermostat Low Makes Your Home Cool Faster

Air conditioning units run at a single speed. Setting the thermostat to a lower temperature won’t make your home cool down any faster.
