Each spring, Oak Grove Cemetery also provides a Spring Flower Program, where families can purchase a flower planting in remembrance of their loved ones. Planted and fertilized in premium soil, this year’s selection includes geraniums, vinca vines, petunias, and dracaena.

Throughout the spring and summer, the dedicated grounds crew will ensure your flowers continue to thrive around your loved one’s grave site. Come fall, they will remove the flowers, and clean and store the vase for reuse the following spring. 

Oak Grove Cemetery offers two Spring Flower Program options for thoughtful friends and family members to choose from:

• Option 1: Annual flowers can be purchased each year. Oak Grove Cemetery will send an order form in the spring, and you can decide if you want to renew your purchase and participate in the program again.
• Option 2: Special care flowers constitute a one-time purchase. Flowers are then placed each year automatically Once purchased, the funds from the account are placed in a special trust, and the interest is used to cover the costs of the floral replacements.

Once you decide on an option that works for you, fill out and mail in the order form with payment by May 1, 2017. The flowers will remain in place through mid-September.
