Join Up and Running as we present a three-part series:  Winning the nutrition, physical and mental game!

January 19th 6pm:  Dawn Weatherwax:  Dial in your nutrition game for training & race day. Sports Nutrition2Go

Dawn Weatherwax is a Registered/Licensed Dietitian with a specialty in Sports Nutrition and Founder of Sports Nutrition 2Go. She is also a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, which is the premier professional sports nutrition credential in the United States. In addition, she is an Athletic Trainer with a Certification in Strength and Conditioning from The National Strength and Conditioning Association. Therefore, she brings a comprehensive and unique understanding of the athlete’s body, and its nutritional needs, to those interested in achieving specific performance goals and optimal health.

January 26th 6pm:  Bob Duncan:  How do you find a training plan that is right for you?

Bob’s been involved in competitive cycling, triathlon and multisport since 1983. Along the way he’s challenged the cycling world (1985–2001) and raced to Cat 2, completed six Ironman distance triathlons (1995–2008), and pushed, cajoled and inspired more athletes than he can remember to perform better than they could have ever imagined.  He currently coaches professional and amateur triathletes.  He will share the fundamentals of building your training & race season, how you can hold yourself accountable to a plan and how to implement a proper plan into your lifestyle.

January 28th 10am:  Craig Willard:  How to win the mental game before you toe the start line. Craig Willard Coaching

Craig is a Certified Sports Mental Coach, International Coach Federation Member and Association for Applied Sport Psychology Member Ph.D. in Psychology Student.  Practice creates the ability for an athlete to increase their fitness capacity however that capacity can’t be achieved in events without the approval of the mind.  This is where Craig comes in and helps you actualize your trained capacity.

Cost:  $20.00 per session or $50.00 for all three sessions.
