Louis Tory Jr. came from a large family and an even larger desire to succeed in the roofing business. As a result of his humble beginnings, he was able to grow a business that garnered continuous business across the island, even in the face of economic changes.

Tory’s passion for roofing was so strong, all four of his children have grown to find permanent roles within the company, all offering different skill sets. His eldest son, Mike, started working for his father at 16 and has since led the company as vice president.

Learning from his experiences as the former president of the Hawaiian Roofing Contractors Association and an executive board member of Western States Roofing Contractors Association, Mike has been a leading force in the roofing industry and has helped the company stay ahead of the curve.

The other Tory siblings have also found ways to grow their strengths within the company and have all been inspired by their father’s passion to succeed and provide for the family. His daughter Sandra, for example, contributes to the company’s marketing and public relations efforts while his sons, Bryan and Brandon, serve unique roles as estimator and production professionals, respectively.
