Fear Of The Unknown December 15, 2016

Fear Of The Unknown, Wagoner, Oklahoma

In life we all have many wonderful moments that we enjoy celebrating that starts from birth. For example graduations, weddings, birthdays, children or grandchildren being born and the list goes on. But one event that we all will face is that moment or time when  God looks down and calls us home. One of the hardest topics to talk about in American history is death and health. When in all actuality we are not dying but beginning our new life in eternity and we should be prepared for the final transition and celebration of our lives here on earth. I really don’t believe that it’s the part of dying that scares people but maybe it’s the fact of the unknown or the uncertainty of what’s waiting for us on the other side. The bible tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So I’m a firm believer that when my soul and spirit leaves my body and I make that final sacrifice in life and lay down my body that I will be reunited with God. Now I know this is a very touchy subject with all the different religions and beliefs everyone has. But the fact is no matter what you believe, at the end of your journey here on earth someone is going to have to take care of the arrangements of what to do with your temple you leave behind. Why not go ahead and make your own decision on what you would like to have done and be prepared. God wants us to be prepared to meet Him and He also wants us to take care of business down here on earth the way that responsible children of His should. No one really wants to sit around and truly ponder on how they are going to die but I’m thankful that we have many great hospice groups who are available to every one of us to help us in that transition. I know this is not the number one topic anyone wants to read about or discuss but the truth is we truly never know when our time will come and we need to be prepared not only spiritually but also mindfully on who and how are the ones left behind going to take care of us. If you have questions about how to pre pay for your final arrangements or just want to talk and get information please feel free to give me a call. 918-485-9525
