EVENT

Event Information

Although Christmas is over, you can still feel the excitement in the air! In addition to spending more time with family and friends this season, people were also brainstorming ways to give back to their communities and brighten the lives of strangers. With this in mind, The St. Laurent School of Dance was proud to offer free performances throughout the month of December.

This celebrated dance academy brought joy to the elderly by performing in retirement homes and a hospital throughout the greater Honolulu, Hawaii, area. Although these performances were not open to the public, both students and audience members had an unforgettable time.

Here, The St. Laurent School of Dance provides a list of the festive performances they provided:

  • Dec 1: Palolo Chinese Home
  • Dec 6: Holiday Retirement at Hawaii Kai
  • Dec 8: Arcadia Retirement Residence
  • Dec 13: Kuakini Medical Center
  • Dec 14: 15 Craigside

The dance academy students entertained retirement home residents with joyous Christmas songs and carefully choreographed dances, as well as the Andy Williams version of the “12 Days of Christmas.” Here is a list of the songs the dancers performed to, separated by dance style.
