Monday and Tuesday

Monday was a good day. We learned mainly about Earth, the moon, and the sun. We learned about why it may be snowing in one place, yet it may be a nice, hot day in another place. We learned about how only parts of the moon and Earth are covered by light.

On Tuesday we learned about rocks and different shapes and sizes of them. We had to describe how the rocks felt and such. We also learned about caves and the animals that live in them.

Wednesday and Thursday

On Wednesday we did some word searches on chemistry. We learned about the layers of the Earth. We made a layer of the earth out of paper. We made the crust, mantle and core. Also, we made the surface of the Earth. We learned about what occurs in the layers of the Earth, such as the lava in the core.

Thursday was also a good day. We did some word searches on science. After, we learned about the ocean and the creatures that live there.
