The 2016 Waikoloa Amateur Championship was held at Waikoloa Village Golf Club over the weekend.  The 36-hole stroke play event featured 74 players across three flights.  The players had to deal with extreme Trades both days of the tournament, with gusts reaching the low thirties.  The players toughed it out despite the rough conditions, and many impressive scores were recorded as a result.

Dalen Yamauchi won his second straight Waikoloa Amateur Championship, shooting a phenomenal par 72 the second day to win the tournament by 3 strokes over Brett Furutani.
