InsideOut Renovations owner Jeremy Larson, plans to run this year’s race, along with his wife, Lindsey, just as they did last year.  For those who don’t know it is 13.1 miles long. Support your local business owners and residents as they run this half-marathon for two of Lincoln’s charities- People’s City Mission and Habitat for Humanity.

There are some correlations that can be drawn from running a business as well as running a marathon because some of the same strategies apply. The phrase ‘running a business’ implies you have energy and stamina just as with running. You must also be disciplined and organized. This marathon is well-planned, organized, and the path is mapped out. In business it is much the same. It is about having a goal and working to get there.

Jeremy has to stay on top of what is current in kitchen and bath design just like you must pay attention to the path you are running in the marathon.  If there is a problem it must be addressed quickly before there is injury or the business suffers. These runners have been training for months for this race.  When you sign up you are given a training guide, a suggested plan to follow so you can reach 13.1 miles the day of the race.

Jeremy said, “It’s important for me to have a presence in my community and I believe in staying fit. Life is good."
