From dressing up to trick-or-treating, Halloween is full of opportunities for excitement. If you’re looking for other wholesome, fun-filled ways for your little ones to enjoy the holiday in the St. Louis, MO, area, Lucky Lane Nursery School has ideas that are sure to delight.

This premier early childhood development center, located in Creve Coeur, shares a few ways to spice up the holiday:

  • Trunk Or Treat: Saturday, October 22, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM may hold even more fun and adventure than Halloween itself. A spooktacular event for Lucky Lane families and their friends.  The children can participate in fun Halloween arts and crafts, delightful games and they get to show off their amazing costumes with a parade. Contact the nursery school’s front office for more information about Trunk or Treat.
  • St.-Louis-MO-nursery-schoolPumpkin Decorating: Allow your children to express their creativity with this longtime Halloween tradition by branching out from the basic pumpkin faces. Little ones who are too young to handle a sharp object can use felt, glue, googly eyes, and other crafty pieces to decorate their pumpkins instead of carving them.
  • Halloween Slime                                                   Create some Halloween Slime, a great sensory material and science lesson for little ones.  Mix equal parts of clear glue and liquid starch with a few drops of food coloring.  Add some plastic spiders and you have an activity that will keep your child occupied for hours as they stretch and mush the spiders around in the slime.

Ensure your children have a happy Halloween by taking part in Lucky Lane Nursery School’s Trunk or Treat. From your littlest ones to preschool-aged children and grade schoolers, everyone’s invited. For more information about St. Louis County’s best early enrichment center, call (314) 434-4462.
