Good Evening HMI Community Members,

I know that all of you have been inundated with forecasts, evacuation planning tips, and news from the media on Hurricane Matthew… so I will keep this brief!

Below is the latest track of the storm, which is predicted to hit Central / East Central Florida early Friday morning through Friday afternoon as a Class 4 hurricane.

Make no mistake … this is a serious storm.  Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.  No matter what … do not risk your safety or that of your family!

The HMI Main Office will be closing by 2:00pm on Thursday, October 6th. We will remain officially closed until 8:30am on Monday, October 10th; however, we will be in the office and out in the field on Saturday in order to evaluate the impact of the storm to our communities and assist in any way possible.
