Coryell Memorial Healthcare System participated in Laerdal Medical’s annual health fair by doing cholesterol checks and taking blood pressure for Laerdal employees. Along with goodies to take home, brochures were passed out with a map of the CMHS campus, so Laerdal employees could locate services like orthopedics, sports medicine, wound care and physical therapy rehabilitation. CMHS has also partnered with Laerdal by adopting the American Heart Association's RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) program. Coryell Memorial was one of the first hospitals in the area to adopt this cutting edge technology to improve delivery of CPR.
