Monday and Tuesday

On Monday and Tuesday we started off by drawing our own bodies. In other words, two kids would be in a team, and they would switch off drawing each other on a long piece of paper. Once we did this, which took a while, we added eyes, ears, a nose, hair, and shirts and pants for our drawing. Then, we colored ourselves in. After this, we colored and cut out a brain and pasted it where the head is, but from the back of the paper. Finally, we mad bones out of pretzels.

Wednesday and Thursday

On Wednesday and Thursday we added lungs and heart to the bodies, and we made our own skeletons. This worked by cutting and connecting the skeleton pieces. We learned more about our internal organs and what they do. We played games on the smartboard to review what we learned.
