At Tiny World Child Care Inc. we do our best to teach children about their body and how to stay healthy. We take many precautions to stay alert of symptoms of the flu, or other illnesses. We work hand-in- hand with parents to prevent our children from getting sick, and do all we can to eliminate bacteria and viruses from both our centers. We find these precautions necessary so our children can enjoy their time at school.

Tiny World Child Care Inc., takes the time to teach their children how to take care of their health using different curriculum topics and activities. For instance, last month teachers in Tiny World’s Toddler classroom combined their curriculum of “My body & my 5 senses”

with activities that teach children how to stay healthy. Some of the activities the children enjoyed were reading stories like “David Smells” by David Shannon, they practiced good hand washing while singing “Wash, your hands” to the tune of “Mary Had A Little Lamb” and playing with soap during the “Soapy hands” activity.

Our Tiny World toddlers practiced how to sneeze with their elbows covering their mouth while playing Simon Says and “AAA-chhuu.” They also had activities dedicated to learning about the importance of eating healthy, activities such as tasting different fruits and veggies.

At Tiny World we take many precautions to stay alert of symptoms of the flu, or other illnesses.
