The New York State tests are right around the corner, and time is running out to prepare your child for the upcoming exams. The challenging content in the common core is not something that can be learned overnight. It is important that you enroll your child in test prep programs early so that they can adequately prepare for these challenging exams.
JEI Learning Center uses a proven two-step approach in order to give our students the skills they need to succeed. First, we work with our students on the fundamental skills they are struggling with. Then we move forward into test taking skills and practice.
We start off every child with a diagnostic assessment, which we use to identify their strengths and weaknesses and highlight which skills they will need the most help with. Then, our certified teachers will develop a customized course of action for them. They will work individually with their teacher during their first sessions to help improve the skills they need help with.
As we get closer to the exam, we will shift from skill-mastery to test taking skills & practice, which include official New York State Common Core test questions.
