About Rerun Shoes

Old Shoes. New Lives

Established in 2009, Rerun Shoes is a footwear donation resource dedicated to sustainable development in the United States and many other parts of the world. Creator Michael Aronson has been active in both the textile and shoe recycling industries since 1994, helping to provide shoes for those in need in West and Central Africa. Rerun seeks to partner with Community Enterprises in order to create customized fundraising for schools and organizations, leading to sustainable development for those in need.

Everyone has shoes that are sitting in the back of their closets gathering dust. If these shoes have been gently worn, but don’t necessarily fit you anymore, they will go a long way in raising money and creating opportunities for organizations, schools, and universities of all sizes.

Children and families in the poorest African countries often have low quality shoes, or sometimes no shoes at all. Rerun recycles worldwide, allowing everyone to make a huge difference to someone in need. In addition to donating shoes to micro-entrepreneurs and previously unemployed individuals, Rerun also provides employment for the disabled. If you have a loved one with an intellectual or cognitive disability, the shoe recycling fundraiser will allow them to make money by sorting and packing shoes at their warehouses.

Donating your gently worn shoes helps people in need by providing them with necessary footwear. It also helps the environment by allowing you to recycle responsibly. If you want to help with sustainable development in needy countries, as well as in the United States, contact Rerun Shoes online or call (413) 306-4505 for more information.
